To lend all possible support to the Fine Arts programs in the Westborough Public Schools and specifically to the Coordinator of Fine Arts K-12.
To build and maintain an organization which will help promote the enrichment activities of the Fine Arts Department of the Westborough Public Schools K-12.
Westborough Fine Arts Education Association (WFAEA) has supported the fine arts in the Westborough Public Schools for over 40 years. Our mission is to support and sustain the arts by helping the teachers and staff deliver a high-quality educational fine arts program from kindergarten through high school. Our support encompasses theater, visual arts, dance, and musical ensembles.
Throughout the year WFAEA provides a wide variety of in-kind and financial support to the arts programs. One of our biggest endeavors annually is supporting Westborough’s participation in MICCA. Westborough High School is a host site for the MICCA Festival's choral performances. This annual event brings fabulous music to our community and is open to the public.
We are a vibrant volunteer organization that needs your support; support that can come in many forms. In addition to financial contributions, you can volunteer at many of the performances and events throughout the school year. We also welcome new faces at our monthly meetings - sharing your skills and talents allows us to come together to assist the Westborough staff and administration as they deliver the best fine arts program possible.
We typically meet the first Tuesday of the month at 7PM in the WHS library. Stop by our next event or meeting, you need not be a member to attend meetings or volunteer. We look forward to welcoming you at our next meeting or seeing you at one of the many upcoming fine arts events.
