Standing Rules

1. The treasurer will ensure that the organizations income tax, 990 filing and Attorney General public charities filing is completed and on time.

2 Ad Book Price for printing will be secured over the summer. Deadline of final copy to printer is end of October. There is an email address for all correspondences related to Ad Book.

3. The Membership Committee will compile a listing of all active members. Membership is either paid via membership dues or Ad Book paid ads. They shall provide a membership list at the annual meeting for distribution of ballots. The membership chairman shall be custodian of all membership applications.

4. If scholarships are to be given to graduating seniors the following criteria for eligibility will be used for those distributed by WFAEA or special scholarships through private donors.

Scholarship Criteria for Selection
Scholarship recipients will be determined by the Coordinator of Fine Arts and the Fine Arts faculty based on a student's participation in at least one of the Fine Arts programs as follows:

  • at least one music curricular ensemble during all years of his/her attendance at Westborough High School

  • upper level Visual Arts curriculum courses

  • all available Dance Ensemble programs

  • upper level Theater offerings

Students must be an active participant for all of their years of attendance and must submit a standard scholarship form with the Fine Arts department to be eligible.

5. In lieu of scholarships the membership may vote to present senior gifts at the Senior Banquet to all fine arts students graduating.

6. The Executive Board may send by electronic mail the monthly agenda, meeting minutes, financial statements and WFAEA information to members. Paper copies should be available at all meetings for members without electronic mail addresses.
